Her professional journey began in business, earning an MBA from Texas State University. However, after witnessing the impact of health-related challenges within her family, she became deeply aware of the importance of mental well-being and the long-term effects of trauma. This realization led her to pursue a Master’s in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University. As a visiting scholar at the University of Texas McGovern Medical School’s Trauma & Resilience Center (TRC), Julie gained extensive experience in evidence-based trauma therapy. Her time at TRC equipped her with the skills to provide the highest standard of care, helping clients navigate their healing journey with confidence.
Outside of her professional work, Julie is a devoted wife and mother of two early-adolescent children. She enjoys reading, walking, meditating, and spending quality time with her family.
