Dr. Ekaete Oyeka is a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with over 13 years of experience in healthcare. She is committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric care to children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric populations, addressing a broad range of mental health conditions.
At Harmonica Psychiatry, Dr. Oyeka specializes in medication management, psychotherapy, and advanced treatments such as Spravato for treatment-resistant depression. Her holistic, patient-centered approach focuses on helping individuals achieve lasting mental wellness and improved quality of life.
In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Oyeka is passionate about education and mentorship. She serves as a professor at Wilkes University and Walden University, where she educates and mentors future psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioners, helping to advance the next generation of mental health providers.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Dr. Oyeka is a devoted wife and mother of seven beautiful children, ranging in age from 17 to 2 years old. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling and spending quality time with her family, creating lasting memories.
